MDFPA - Celebrating Good Works

RED HERRING PUPPETS

We want to acknowledge some good works coming out of Tucson, Arizona

Lisa Aimee Sturz is the Owner and Artistic Director of Red Herring Puppets. She has an MFA in puppetry from UCLA and over 40 years of experience building, performing, and directing puppetry for film & television, theatre, museums, educational institutions, and special events.

Lisa and company are hard at work bringing puppet shows to local schools. This might well be the first time these students have witnessed live performances. With the help of the Marc Dunworth Foundation, Red Herring Puppets is performing “Jack and the Beanstalk and other Adventures in Folklore” for two at-risk schools in Tucson as part of “Love of Reading” week.
