Bill Weimer will present a book talk at 2 different locations on separate days.
We’re hosting Bill Weimer at his book talk covering his life in the magic bars and clubs of Chicago.
We partnered with Our Lady of the Snows Elementary school to offer an after school project on October 29th featuring a puppet - style Sugar Skull.
In honor of Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead, a traditional day of remembrance for dearly departed loved ones, those in attendance fashioned a 3 dimensional paper calavera.
The craft project was conducted by MDFPA with the assistance of the Our Lady of the Snows art teacher Elizabeth Real.
All of life is juggling…. so learn how to do it correctly!

Students and staff from Our Lady of the Snows will be treated to a field trip!

In a continuing effort to support our community and raise awareness for the performing arts, we are honored to have been afforded this opportunity.
A 5-day camp for local park district day campers to entwine into their daily schedule.
The public is also welcome, but must register with the library.
They’ll be getting creative with puppets and music and blending them together.
A hands-on workshop featuring various types of magic, plus performance tips for those eager to learn a new skill or rekindle a former hobby
Suited for the more mature individual with the patience to take up this challenging artform
(not difficult, but not for the meek either)
Doors open at 5:00 pm
Consider a donation of non-perishable food items for the library pantry

Our spring fundraiser helps support our mission of bringing educational programs and workshops to underserved communities with regard to the performing arts.
Starting April 18th we will present
an auction one month prior to our
(May 18th at Lake Katherine Nature Center)
The auction is a head start on summer vacation planning and features some items of interest for family time during school break.
