Live Performance for O'Keeffe School

Isabelle C O'Keeffe School of Excellence will be receiving a visit from the Dave Herzog Marionettes  on February 7th. The first of two shows, starting at 9:30 a.m., will bring an opportunity for these students to see a live performance right in their school as part of the days activities. 

For many, this may be the first time they have seen a live performance of any kind, all compliments of the Marc Dunworth Foundation for the Performing Arts.  

Dave Herzog was Marc’s mentor when Marc attended Columbia college. His internship with Dave helped propel Marc into the professional life of a puppeteer, notably, marionette performances. Marc was already a lover of the puppet theatre since he was a small boy after witnessing a performance by The Melikin Puppets, Marc’s first mentors. Marc remained friends with Dave Herzog and the Biske family for the remainder of his short life.
