Chicagoland Puppetry Guild Banquet

We had the great honor and pleasure to join the CPG at their annual banquet. Upon being invited, we decided to take advantage of the opportunity and came up with the idea of presenting this fine organization with the very first monetary gift awarded by the Marc Dunworth Foundation for the Performing Arts.

We awarded the CPG with a check for $1000 to assist in continuing their good works of community outreach, networking strength within the industry and overall support of the puppetry arts. The banquet took place at Pizano’s Pizza in Glenview, which I highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Marc’s earliest and then later mentors are also members. Mel and Laverne Biske of the Melikin Puppets, as well as Dave Herzog of Dave Herzog Marionettes were in attendance.

It was a fun evening that was preceded by a performance of the Roz Puppets - The Boy Who Saw Martians, at the Book Market Hangar One - Glenview.
