2019 Kick Off BBQ
The June 15th Kick Off BBQ was a rousing (though wet) success!
We did indeed have some rain that day, but it did not dampen the spirits of everyone in attendance. The group was lively and we had fun in spite of the seemingly endless rain! Many folks from out of town made the trip to spend some time in memory of Marc.
The final donation total achieved from the day of the event amounted to $ 1500
We are very grateful for the tremendous turn-out (see below), the effort put forth by everyone working in the background( Peggy and John) and especially to those who took the time, made the trip, stayed wet along with everyone else and showed how much Marc meant to each of you.
We managed to eat during a break in the rain, do a door prize give-away, have some magic fun with Rich Purpura and hear his touching story about a little boy named Marco, selling marionettes in Cozumel.
The event ended right on time at the appointed hour.
