The Northwest Puppet Center is now exhibiting all things ‘circus’ in the puppetry world.
Running October 2019 through May 2020, this exhibit will also feature The Marc Dunworth ‘Here Comes The Circus’ marionette troupe.
Northwest Puppet Center is the new home of the these beloved characters and are lovingly looked after by preservationist, Dmitri Carter of Carter Family Marionettes fame.
In collaboration with the Northwest Puppet Center, we are making a weekend of fun for all to be part of! The Marc Dunworth Foundation and guests will be visiting the exhibit and enjoy a ticketed live stage performance from local entertainers on Saturday, March 14th. On March 15th, a social gathering is planned at the Hampton Inn & Suites Northgate. If you would like to attend, please click on the link below.
Space is limited and a small cover charge will be applied at the door to cover incidentals.

PUPPET CIRCUS
Northwest Puppet Center’s new exhibit showcases circus puppets! From the early variety acts at fairgrounds to the bigtop, puppets have developed alongside. Sometimes the puppets mimic the acts done by humans and animals. Sometimes the puppets have been part of the sideshows or even made appearances in the big ring.
Exhibit open weekends 12pm-4pm October 2019 through May 2020. Also open before/after shows or by appointment.
Northwest Puppet Center is home to many great collections in both our puppet library and our puppet museum. Our non-profit organization has gradually become one of the world’s greatest resources for artists and scholars interested in puppetry.
